Spring Clean Up
Spring is almost here and it’s time to wake up our Church grounds for the arrival of Easter. On Saturday 28 March from 9 AM - 1 PM we will conduct our spring spruce up of the OSLC grounds - pruning, trimming, and raking out the flower beds. We’ll have a dumpster on site to collect all the clippings and cuttings. All are welcomed to lend a hand for a few hours or whatever time you can spare. Please bring your favorite gardening tool and a pair of gloves. Refreshments will be served.
Little Dresses for Africa
Sundays at 11:30am in the library. Next sessions will be March 8th and April 19th.
Join us for our next sessions in this long-established project at OSLC, where we have been creating dresses for girls in Africa since 2014. This initiative transforms donated pillowcases into beautiful dresses, utilizing the guidelines set forth by “Little Dresses for Africa” and embellishments like ribbons and buttons.
Help us support this global community project and contribute to the over 600 dresses that our volunteers at OSLC have created and donated. No prior sewing experience is necessary to participate.
