Little Dresses for Africa

Sundays at 9:30am. Next session June 15th

Join us for our next sessions in this long-established project at OSLC, where we have been creating dresses for girls in Africa since 2014. This initiative transforms donated pillowcases into beautiful dresses, utilizing the guidelines set forth by “Little Dresses for Africa” and embellishments like ribbons and buttons.

Help us support this global community project and contribute to the over 600 dresses that our volunteers at OSLC have created and donated. No prior sewing experience is necessary to participate.

The Quest of the Historical Jesus in Narrative Form

Here, in narrative form, is an account of the activity of Jesus of Nazareth, scrupulously constructed so that it does not undercut the insights of New Testament scholarship. What makes it different from other such attempts is that Jesus never actually appears. What we find everywhere is his shadow, his effect.

Beginning June 3rd, we will begin study of this book. Classes will be held weekly at 7PM in the library or via Zoom. Contact Pastor Lucas if you would like to purchase a physical copy of the book for $15.
