School Supplies Drive
All August
During the month of August, we will be collecting school supplies to help support our local students and teachers. Please consider donating any of the following items: white tissues, card stock, one subject spiral notebooks, highlighters, washable markers-blunt tip. safety scissors, 24 count crayon crayons, Post-It notes, Lysol wipes, paper towels, pump hand soap, liquid hand soap refills, glue sticks, colored printer paper, blue painter’s tape, masking tape.
Parent’s Day Off
August 30th
1 - 3 PM
Need a well-deserved break from your children? Join OSLC for a parent’s day off. Drop off your children between 1PM and 3PM on Sunday August 30th and you can enjoy some time to yourself. Hosted by Pastor Lucas and Renee Vinciquerra, children will participate in fun activities including Craft and Games, Snack and Treats, and Movies.
Pasta Food Drive
All of June-August
Starting in June, OSLC will be collecting dry pasta, pasta sauce, mac and cheese, canned pasta meals, and gluten-free pasta to support families in need through the Southeaster Food Back of Virginia. Please consider giving back to our community with a generous donation. Donations are being collected in the Narthex in a “Tower of Pastor Pasta”. The goal is to make the tower taller than Pastor Lucas. Let’s see if OSLC can build the tallest tower.

STUDY GROUPS
Learning Lutheran Basic
Every Monday during August at 7pm in the library We'll examine the foundation of Lutheranism. Taught by Pastor Lucas.
Sunday Bible School
Restarting August 2nd
Sundays 9:30 AM for adults and 9:45 AM for children. All are welcome to join us as we explore the teachings of Scripture, engage in meaningful discussions, and contribute to the spiritual foundation of the Children.
Bible: Cover to Cover
Wednesday at 6:00 PM Join OSLC as we read the Bible, Cover to Cover. Each week we will review the week’s reading plan and engage in a discussion on God’s word. We will meet in person and online via Zoom.
