The best way to discover who we are and all the wonderful things God does through us is to join us for worship with Holy Communion on Sunday at 8:30AM and 10:30AM.

Our Mission Statement:

Our Saviour Lutheran Church together in Jesus Christ is freed by grace to live faithfully, witness boldly and serve the community joyfully.

History:

Our Saviour Lutheran Church was organized in 1956 by Pastor Kenneth Carbaugh. On May 21, 1961 we dedicated the first unit of the church building. In 1979 we dedicated the current sanctuary.

Church Council 

The Church Council is the lay leadership of the congregation,  comprising nine lay members and the Pastor.  Their responsibilities of leadership include the monitoring of all business items to maintain the congregation and guidance regarding the mission and ministry of the church in accordance with the church’s constitution and the guidelines of the ELCA Virginia Synod.  Council members serve on a three-year rotation. Elections are held  at the annual meeting, held in January.   Council members also serve as chairpersons of various committees.  The Church Council meets on the first Thursday following the first Sunday of each month at 7:00 pm.
