Migrant Ministry
Mission Trip 1 - June 23rd 4PM
OSLC is joining with St. Pius X Migrant Ministry Mission in supporting the farm workers on the Eastern Shore. St. Pius X Catholic Church started their Migrant Ministry in 2011 with the mission of providing support to over 2,000 farm workers who migrate to the eastern shore each year to work the fields and harvest tomatoes that are sold in our grocery stores. In the Month of June, we ask for your help in collecting items to donated during upcoming mission trips. We are looking for:
Mens Sneakers in size 8 - 10 (new or gently used)
Soccer Balls
Baseball bats, gloves, and balls
Donations can be placed in the labeled box in the Narthex.
Your donations will help the workers stay protected from the hard conditions of their labor and get some friendly entertainment while they’re away from their homes and families.

Little Dresses for Africa
Sundays at 12PM in the library.
Next sessions will be scheduled for September 20th, October 25th, November 15th, and December 6th from 12PM through 4 PM.
Join us for our next sessions in this long-established project at OSLC, where we have been creating dresses for girls in Africa since 2014. This initiative transforms donated pillowcases into beautiful dresses, utilizing the guidelines set forth by “Little Dresses for Africa” and embellishments like ribbons and buttons.
Help us support this global community project and contribute to the over 600 dresses that our volunteers at OSLC have created and donated. No prior sewing experience is necessary to participate.
Seniors Luncheon
Come join the OSLC Seniors Group as they host a luncheon on Thursday, August 13th. Enjoy fellowship and food in Carbaugh Hall. All ages are welcome to attend.
